I wish I read the reviews before I went to Bel Furniture. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received in my life in regards to making a purchase. I spent over $3,000 on a new couch and entertainment center. The sales person was nice, however the manger Edward has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen from a manager. Never order from Bel Furniture. The prices might be great but It is a pain to get your furniture. I waited over a month for my furniture. I ordered it on Martin Luther King Day. I have tried to pick it up 3 times in February. Finally was able to pick it up and they had the order wrong. We ordered two sets of bunk beds and they only added two mattresses. We bought a dining set and bed room set. Their delivery was not at all good. Delivery people came very late and as they transferred the furniture from the truck to the home they hit and broke our car mirror. Also the dining table piece was broken. We called customer service at least 10 times. Every time they give the same response. Margaret in Customer service was not even willing to give a proper response in this regard. Buyer Beware ! Their warranty is a scam, they will not honor it and you will never get to speak to a manager. They have yet to return any of my calls about my broken bed that is under warranty. I ended up taking it to the westpark warehouse myself and Rafaela was rude and has yet to call about getting it replaced like she said she would that day. Omg! Why did I not read the reviews first. They charged me for 2 of one item & when I called they were very rude. Mind you this is customer service. They can't even start to help until Monday then on Monday I have to call back & wait 3-5 days to get my money back. Asked to speak to a manager. Never got to bc get this they are in a meeting. To what do you expect it was Black Friday. Lol! I will never be back again. First & last. Do yourself a favor & run to another place.
I went into the store and cancelled an order that could not be delivered when promised. I was given a printout of the refund to my credit card. I discovered a couple of weeks later via a phone call to the card company that the refund had not been completed an sent to the card company. It was not until I phoned the store and threatened to put them on FOX news that they finally completed the refund. I will not do business with them again.
Ok so when I walked in I immediately noticed that 90% of their furniture looked like grandma hit the lottery. Anyway I was able to find a sectional sofa that looked half way respectable and for a decent price. It was the display so they knocked $50 off the sticker price. My experience with the Webster store was horrible. The sales person was all smiles and nice while selling me the furniture. I paid for express delivery to have my furniture dlelivered in 3 days. When the furniture got there, my beds were wrong. I was told it would be another week before I got the correct beds even though I paid for express delivery and it was Bel's fault. Terrible quality. Purchased living room set, less than 3 years ago and it is now trash. The seats are sunken in, recliners are impossible to open or close and material has peeled and ripped at the seems. We are a family of 4, 2 small children, so the furniture has not been abused. Two days ago the mid section of the sofa which is a cupholder arm rest, completely broke. I purchased 5 yr warranty for the structure and mechanics.
