Very run of the mill furniture-mostly traditional. The service was okay; I walked through the store for about ten minutes before someone finally spoke to me.
My experience with BEL Furniture was extremely disappointing! I was so enraged when I left the store. I had just finished a purchased of over $1100 at this store and their manager and back office staff still treated me rudely. They walked away while I was still asking them questions about the ripped dust skirt under the ottoman they delivered the day before. No stars!!!! The worst customer service and delivery service ever!!!! First, I told the the salesperson what I was looking for. He showed me 3/4 dinettes that I didn't Like. As I was leaving the store I walked thru an area that he didn't show me and I found a set that I liked. When I asked why he hadn't shown this one, he just stared and said oh I didn't know we had this. I bought a dinette set and a delivery date was setup. Do not shop here, they have several open complaints at BBB. we went to the one on Katy free way and I10 and deeply regreted that we did. Mrs Shadow (store manager) was rude and you really have to read the fine print. she ask for 25% restocking fee even if the items are not ship if you cancel the order. on the back of the receipt stated that it applied only to special order items ( which they never tell you when you sign for it). there price i slightly low but you get what you paid for. i have to call my cc company to dispute... read more
One star is too much for customer support! After buying furniture, that came with a TV, I had the worst time getting the TV. Bel just never sent the info to Best Buy and it took call after call to get the info to Best Buy. Looks like Bel don't want to give up the money to Best in a timely manner. Good prices, BAD service. Couches deflate over time. Not worth it. I would give them no stars if I could.
We bought a queen bed and a chest one week ago...low and behold they sold us a piece of furniture that doesn't exist. They tried to give us a plasma tv stand instead of a chest. It turns out they only carry the bed and they do not carry the chest. I guess we had a sleazy salesman just trying to make a sale. Wow. It has been a LONG time since my last review, and that should go to show how absolutely enraged I am with BEL Furniture. They are the WORST! We picked out a couch from them last week and had it delivered yesterday in very poor condition. I was so distraught that I wanted to return the couch, not exchange it. Terrible customer service. The purchase was easy, just went in to buy a mattress at the advertised price, no problem. However pickup was less than efficient or organized. After I purchased I was told it wouldn't be in for a week, this info would have been helpful to know up front.
