Businesses are for profit but what Nissan at Bellevue is doing with markups is atrocious price gouging to take advantage of covid. They're profiting off the deaths of millions. Their employees with morals are quitting. The only staff their are jackals.
Wanted to buy the Nissan Z but they charged an extra $73k on top of the 55k for the car. Instead of calling this price gouging which it is, they call it market adjustment so that its not illegal.
I was interested in the Proto Nissan Z that was listed for around $54k. I was absolutely shocked to find out they added a +$70k markup. Their reasoning was that it’s a limited edition. That may be true, but after speaking with Nissan corporate, this was not their vision for price point for this vehicle. Absolutely insane markup and I wouldn’t work with them in the future as I saw multiple other vehicles on the lot with crazy markups as well.
Insane markup on the new Z. With practices like this it’s only a matter of time before buying directly from the manufacturer becomes the norm. And dealers who go out of business will have people like these dealers to thank for that.
140% markup on a brand new Z is atrocious. This should be a criminal offense but lucky for them it’s not. Take your business elsewhere.
$73,000 markup on a car is unacceptable for a Nissan Z! Go Honda or Toyota instead!
They are adding insane markup to the the new Nissan Z. Completely unjustified. Waste of time and would not work with them.
73k markup is ridiculous, iTs 1 oUt Of 240 ThOuGh. Doesnt justify you giving a bad name to nissan by making at least a 73k profit off their goods while you just pay invoice. Also parts make the dealerships the money more than car sales, so it a good idea no one even brings their already owned nissans to you for repairs. Customer service is absolutely unbelievable! !! They just want to make the most money off of you possible! Want a new Nissan Z for 54k? Sike we’re going to more than double the price to 130k. Absolutely ridiculous! And that’s not the only car they’re trying to screw you over on too. Go to any other dealership besides this xxx. Completely unacceptable.
