The job could not have gone any better. I had used Berg for roofing and sidingin the past, when I lived in Westmont. I moved to the far South suburbs over a year ago. It took this cold winter to realize how bad my windows were in this 113 year old home. I was thrilled when I called Berg and found out that they performed work in my area. I was able to deal with the same salesman I used in the past. He came out, measured my windows, and gave me an estimate on site. I did get other estimates. It went pretty good. They did the job quickly and they did not go over budget. It went fine with the staff. The guys came over and put the roof on in the morning. They tore off the old one and removed everything. The price was reasonable. There were no complications. I like it and I would use them again. Berg Roofing and Home Improvers put a new roof on.

Everything went fine. <p>Replaced roof and skylights. Fixed a small area on roof this year that wasn't quite right and didn't charge us for it 2 years later. Came on time for quote and won the deal on price. Showed up on time and did a great job.</p>

Came out next day from when I called for estimate. Wonderful Salesman! Explained and went over everything. Price comparable to my other estimates. This company has been in business longer then most of my other estimate companies and it is family owned. I liked that I was dealing with a family member who I felt was honest and in no way pushy! It was a good experience but I do not remember much of the details. The price was good. They came out very quickly and did the job very quickly. I have already recommended them to my friends at work. I used Berg Roofing & Home Improvers in 2010 for the replacement of the roof.

The crew that worked on the house was very good. They showed up at 8:30, and worked throughout the day, with a break for lunch, until a bit after 2pm. Everything worked out as far as timing went - the dumpster was delivered on time (and picked up early the next day) as were the shingles. The crew was pretty careful in stripping off the old shingles, nails, and felt paper. They were very timely. The quality of the work was excellent. They were able and capable to do what most chimneys can't do; The roof. I was very pleased. Very thorough job. And the pricing was competitive. Rebuilt my fireplace chimney.
Received a written proposal/quote and was told it would be two to three weeks out depending on weather. Received a call the week prior notifying me that they would be doing the roof on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week but would call to notify me the day before. unknown The did a good job replacing shingles on roof. The only thing that I was not happy with is that they were letting the bundles and letting them fall h****** the roof which not only scared the crap out of you, it made several nails pop down which I had to patch.
