Roof and skylight went great. Just like the other two roofs I had them do in the past. The Bay window looked like a third grader had done the job, in fact they originally left the flashing with several (six or more) nails bent over and the metal flashing dented by there hammers. Brian did come back to look at it and made an attempt at fixing....while it looked better afterwards,(he covered the flashing in the center part where nails were bent and flashing damaged by hammer stirkes) it still did not look right and Will County... read more
Despite the great reviews on Angie's list - repeated calls were required to get the quote set up. They seemed professional and gave a good quote - they appeared to be an honest company with a good long-term reputation. They estimated that the job would be done in 3-5 weeks. After 7 weeks a status update was demanded regarding the start date because winter was near. They set a start date of 1 week, but increased the quote by 25% - for a previously identified issue. After receiving the contract in late fall I waited two more weeks for this person to pick out a color. I explained in fall we are running about four to five weeks out and rain can push us back as well. Simply calling every 2 days until you get what you want is not an option, I do my roofs in the order they were signed (unless the roof is leaking). I did a quote for the Omni style gutter and in many cases when Omni gutters are removed a 1x6 aluminum fascia board is required. This increased the cost of his gutters but on close... read more
Not well at all. The first appointment they scheduled to look at the work was cancelled. The second appointment they scheduled they never showed up or called. I have left multiple messages and no response I was in need of windows, gutters, and roof repair

Never happened. Very difficult to reach whom I believe is the owner, Brian. I would suggest not bothering with using the company's listed phone number or leaving a message, he won't bother to reply until you are ready to walk away and only if you contact through repeated emails. He will promise to reply the next day and still not hear from for over a week. If you like any semblance of customer service, don't use this firm. I needed to get my home reroofed.

The roof was completed without any issues in summer 2017. The problems began when we had some leaking. The first leak occurred around a skylight. We have two skylights and despite my message they were looking at the wrong skylight when I got home. I corrected them and they worked on the problem. In December we had some leaking around our fireplace. I called them and they said it was probably due to freezing snow and then rapid thawing. This did not cure the leak. I later had to have part of the roof redone. That stopped the leak. But I thought this was a reasonable approach to take, especially since my downspouts were not in that good of shape. I had a leak on my roof. Berg said difficult to determine where the leak is coming from. Could be from the gutters, which would be cheaper to fix than the roof. So we put in a new gutter and new downspouts.

Roofing was completed in a day. Gutters the next day. The work performed met our expectations and was a very good value for the price (see note below). Berg said they would run a magnet over our property to recover any nails they might have missed during roof removal and install -- they said they did - but the night after the roof was done I found 13 nails on our driveway and on the sidewalk in our backyard where are dog frequents. unknown Brian came and inspected the roof in May. The house roof was fine but there were shingles missing from the gazebo. Also, the roof fan had blown down from a recent storm. He said he would get the fan and install it, and also replace the few shingles on the gazebo (6 or 7 I believe). Did not hear from him again. I called and talked to Cindy; she said she would give him the message. It's now July 11 and it's still not done.
