Very smooth process, had roof done in one day, gutters in another day. New roof and gutters for my 1954 home. Very pleased with the result and the price. Would definitely recommend.
I would recommend them. They did great, they were reasonably priced and clean. We had no issues. He always got back to us. They were here exactly when they said they were going to be here. They were dressed nice, they workers were nice to my wife and kids and courteous. They were even nice to the neighbors. Berg Roofing and Home Improvement put on a new roof, new gutters. They removed 2 layers and wood decking as well, it was a lot of work.
They were good. The job overall went on very well. They came when they said they would come. Their price was better than other two quotes. The quality was very much worth the money and was the better bid that we got. They clean up were good. I used Berg Roofing & Home Improvers for roofing in August last year.
He was friendly. We have an odd situation at our house so he was taken back by it a little bit. I thought the price was high but we have an unusual house so I think he was a little high. I don't think he really wanted the job. He was on time and very in depth with detail, he spent 2 hours on the estimate. We didn't end up using him. Berg Roofing gave us an estimate for adding ridge fencing to our roof.

They first came out to give us a bid and then they did the work. It cost me $4000. They came with good references. They came recommended to us. They could be a little more concrete on what day they were going to do the work. We just kind of got a day before their crew showed up. That was fine for me. We interviewed 3 roofing contractors and Dan was the one we felt most comfortable with. He is very personable and has a great crew to work with. His price was in the middle of our bids but we felt we would get the best value with him. The work is great and the house looks amazing. Complete tear off and re-roof. They removed all the wood decking, 2 layers of shingles, the gutters and installed new everything. Was a 2 day process which was 2 days shorter than I expected considering the scope of work.
Although scheduling was difficult at first because we signed the contract in November, once we mutually decided to wait out winter scheduling went smoothly. We were the second roof of the season and they did a great job. The price of the contract was honored even though it was a new season. Crew was nice, quick and polite. Berg is an excellent company to deal with. This is the second time I have used them. Last year I had a new roof installed on my house and this year on my garage. Once again, they were on time, quick, clean, and they did everything Tom said they would do.
