Best one around, by far. The food is always good. Service is exceptional. The staff genuinely cares and gets to know you and your family.
It's been many years since I have visited this restaurant and I have to say the food was just as delicious as always. As a senior citizen I am pretty fussy and vocal is food or service is bad but this store gets the best rating ever. The Manager is still still there and my kids are now grown with kids. He is still the polite and courteous person I remember. The lady taking my call was excellent. Great service and the staff is very customer focused. Thanks for the wonderful experience and food. Breakfast bar is great on the weekend's. Store was remodeled a few year's back. Removed some booth's and added tables. Has 2 tv's and free WiFi.
I've always been a fan of Big Boy's. This location at 12 Mile and Hoover in Warren, MI was recently remodeled after a driver took a detour through the east wall of the building. The management here has recently purchased really cool plates and mugs. The coffee is always great and I never have a complaint with the food... always hot and fresh. The salad bar looks clean and fresh. Our server was friendly and very professional. I will definately be going back again.
Have found a new favorite on their menu: the Sunrise Slim Jim with hashbrowns. Delicious! I prefer coffee with a meal like this, but their coffee is awful. Either that or it's been sitting on the burner too long. If that's the case, then they need to make a fresh pot every 20 minutes.
3.75 Stars This is one of the better Big Boys in my area, the one in Eastpointe is great for breakfast but sometimes the dinner time has been hit or miss. Pros: The soup and salad bar is well kept, they seem to care about what they are putting in front of you. The fish and chips have been consistently good. I was thoroughly impressed by this Big Boy. Usually, this retro inspired chain leaves me thinking strictly of senior specials and unidentifiable's on the salad bar. But this visit was different- the restaurant was bustling with plenty of staff and all were very friendly. Very frustrated with the customer service, I had a carry out on 12/16, when I got home realized that I had been shorted 2 desserts that I had paid for, I called and talked to a employee named Lacy, explained that I didn't want to go back out, and she told me she would take my name and let the manager know that I would be I on Wednesday to get them, when I came in I was given a hard time, and they refused to give them to me because even though I was assured by a employee that it wouldn't be a issue. Took our kids up there for the very first time. Wasn't expecting anything fancy but the boys just wanted the kids fruity pebble pancakes with vanilla ice cream icing on it. We put in our order 15min later they come back saying they don't have most of the stuff my gf had to pick something else. They said they had no more fruity pebbles so the boys chose strawberry and cookies and cream.
