You can't use it on the back on your own as it requires special adjustment which I can't unless someone else help me. It is not practical as I expected to be. 1.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Looks very pretty. Is a beautiful blue color. Small and convenient and hooks well on waistband. Easy to hook together. 6 nice patches came w device. Easy directions. Kinda price but would be fine if it worked. It simple will not turn on correctly for me or my son and friend. Lights keep blinking and making noice.
2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't stop much pain. In fairness, I have degenerative disc disease and stenosis. That being said, the biowave did nothing to even touch the pain associated with these conditions. It feels good to have on, but has no pain relieving qualities. The replacement pads are also $30 and do not last very long.

L-Ion batteries should last a lot longer than a year. Customer Service guy at first wouldn't even check with a supervisor to see if they'd do an exchange. I was on my way to surgery but due to Covid-19, surgery was delayed. To try to get through the months of waiting, I purchased the BioWave GO on a whim. 2.0 out of 5 stars Intensity dropped exponentially I got mine from the VA and thought it was great for the first couple of weeks. Now the intensity has diminished considerably. Initially, if I ran it at 80%-90%, the stimulation was strong and took a couple of minutes to adapt to it. Now at the highest setting I can barely feel it on my lower back. The stimulation at 100% is about what 20% was when I first got it. It helped a bit when it worked at the higher setting but now it is worthless to me in terms of pain abatement.
