Ripped us off! Deceptive business practices!Lost over $80k per the last statement. Sold my wife retail coins, which apparently are worth less than you pay for them in the conversion. Now they go to the melt price as the value of the account. So immediately we lost $80k. Why did they even sell my wife coins if they dont hold value and are worth less than she paid??? I invested in Gold and Silver with Birch gold Group with a Roll over **** to diversify my retirement. I was lead to Birch Gold Group from ***** ******, I had way too much trust in this group from the Advertising on Bannons show and Did not do my Home work, the Purchase Price for the Gold Coins was 50% above Current market value. I opened an *** with Birch Gold last year. Gold was starting to move quickly. With a nearly 20% increase in the market I called to see what I was at or what profit level I may have had. The broker I spoke with said, well when we sell it to our wholesaler, you will be about break even. With gold and silver being up since my purchase, I was not excited with those words. I'm not sure this will get posted, but I got burned with the Birch Gold Group. I invested my retirment with this company and now wish I hadn't. Not only did I lose losts of money, I was told over the phone they they do not communicate thru emails which made me question why not. If you understand the market well and understand exactly what you need then the purchasing of gold or silver is a smooth process.However, for newbies who are looking to invest your 401K, be very careful. My advice is to do your own research before engaging with Birch Gold and make sure you do not commit to any purchase until you know exactly what you are buying and for how much.I was mis-guided during my purchase and in hindsight I would never have invested into Silver with Birch Gold. I purchased a silver *** for ****** and the administrative fees and storage fees were more than the silver appreciated. I cashed out and the Silver Eagles I got are only worth ******. Thats a ****** loss, so buyer beware.

Somewhat comforting to know I'm not the only person who's been taken by Birch Gold. Bought ******** silver coin as an IRA ********* account has decreased in value by 40%.

PSA ??I brought some precious metals a few months ago and to was very disappointed to find out after my testing of my gold that they were NOT "24ct gold", but gold plated. I reported it to Birch Gold Group and it was handled in a very personal manner by ******* and ********. Please make sure to test your purchase with a place that uses a metal scanner.. Hopefully, Birch Gold Group, takes a moment to review their partnership with manufacturers to maintain their company's integrity!!

My investment advisor had me buy an ********** Florin .25 oz in gold and silver instead of having me buy U.S. Eagle or Buffalo 1 oz. The Australian Florin has lost 50% of its value in less than 6 months yet gold and silver remain strong in general. He assured me it was a safe and not volatile but that was not the case. Yes, invest at your own risk but I would have bought what I know but was advised otherwise and it cost me. Dont buy foreign gold or silver.
