Birch Gold Group is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Out of all the competition, I chose this company to buy my gold because I trusted their sponsorships. Birch Gold Group is a legit scam. I naively thought upon purchasing gold that it was purchased at or near the spot price of gold. I was dead wrong and didn't realize until 6 months later that this sham of a company charges the US mint price of gold plus their anstro fees instead of the spot price. The spot price of gold at the time that I bought was anywhere from $2700-2900. I bought 1.85 oz of American eagle. 2900+2900 is 5800 so technically at the time I bought, 2oz of gold was worth $5800. BUYER BEWARE Being new at gold investing, I have invested with Birch twice. The first time I didn't know better so I just transitioned my entire retirement. Now I have learned more and went to add to it as an annual SEP **** After completing the transaction, I realized they sold me a .25 ounce gold coin at over $1288.45 when the cost of gold is $3315 an ounce! And the coin is not even a known coin! This company is a fraud! I will now be researching what they actually sold me when I carried over my retirement account!
Great experience except birch took too much money per coin i purchased when i transferred my fidelity investment ******* to birch **** birch made thousands of dollars.
