Birch Gold Group is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Out of all the competition, I chose this company to buy my gold because I trusted their sponsorships. Boy, was I disappointed! After I filled out and provided them all the required documentations, wire-transferred my money, paid what was quoted to me, I signed off on everything. They called me AFTER the fact, demanding more money, claiming the market had gone up within the last few hours. Mind you, this was the same day they received my payment, whic... read more

Business response:

Hi Tina, we have reviewed your account and found your documentation was collected on December 18th, 2025, and your funds came in on December 19th, 2025, under a different account name. To adhere to our compliance guidelines, given the account discrepancy, we required supporting documentation, which you provided to us on December 22nd, 2025. During that time, the market had fluctuated significantly. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience with us. We take all feedback seriously and have made severa... read more

Birch Gold Group is a legit scam. I naively thought upon purchasing gold that it was purchased at or near the spot price of gold. I was dead wrong and didn't realize until 6 months later that this sham of a company charges the US mint price of gold plus their anstro fees instead of the spot price. The spot price of gold at the time that I bought was anywhere from $2700-2900. I bought 1.85 oz of American eagle. 2900+2900 is 5800 so technically at the time I bought, 2oz of gold was worth $5800. You wanna know how much birch go... read more

BUYER BEWARE Being new at gold investing, I have invested with Birch twice. The first time I didn't know better so I just transitioned my entire retirement. Now I have learned more and went to add to it as an annual SEP **** After completing the transaction, I realized they sold me a .25 ounce gold coin at over $1288.45 when the cost of gold is $3315 an ounce! And the coin is not even a known coin! This company is a fraud! I will now be researching what they actually sold me when I carried over my retirement account!

Do Your Due Diligence or Be Unpleasantly Surprised On September 17, 2024, I invested my entire 401k and pension into a rollover with Birch, anticipating a substantial increase in gold prices in the coming months. As of March 19, 2025, gold has risen by approximately 19.5%, with the bid price for the Gold American Eagle at around $319 per coin, which is $2 more than my purchase price. When I contacted the company representative for an account valuation, he stated, "If you purchased your metal today, it would cost you $200,000... read more

Birch Gold isn't the place to go for your gold **** They're not up front with you about where you're allocating your funds. Their sales people are sold on commission. They aim to sell you the most expensive product possible (highest premiums possible) to make the most on the sale. They're not up front with you about this. As they "help you shop," they lead you toward the highest premium product possible for your **** This leaves you paying huge amounts up front and having to make massive gains in the metal market in order to... read more

Birch gold is a rip off. I invested $10k in a precious metals *** two or three year ago and I am still in the red on my investment. As of today my investment is only worth $9700 Despite the fact that inflation has be rampant. I have also spent almost $700 in storage fees for my metals, which means I am continuing to loose money on my investment. When I asked Birch Gold why my investment has always been worth less than the money I put in, they gave me some story about how the coins have value as collector's items. Gold and Si... read more
