The food is really really good whoever says that breakfast is only for the morning is insane I went at night because I wanted to try Black Bear diner and their food is really good the wait staff is super nice pretty cozy atmosphere also before I went on my Merry way I spent a questionable amount of money on candy at the TA store that is attached there's also two other restaurants I don't remember
I absolutely love the Bears! The food is really good overall. I prefer the breakfast and the Turkey lunch, but I tend to go for the club sandwich and split it with a friend. FYI the cream pies and apple pies are to die for.
I have the steak, great quality meat and all the sides were great too. I ordered to pick up since I was passing by Amarillo and the ladies made very easy to order, great customer service.
We decided to stop at a diner on Route 66. This place had humongous portions and wonderful food. We had pancakes, bacon, grits, hash browns, eggs and LOVED it all. The decor is fun with a "bear" theme and the waitress was extremely professional and d fast! This is a great spot to get a warm and filling meal that makes you feel like you were at your grandma's because it's just that yummy!
Great food. Great service. Great location We stayed at the best Western nearby. We ordered dinner to go. We also ordered lunch to go to take with us to palo duro st park. They had everything we needed and preferred it over the other local Options.
Excellent food and service. Will plan to stop here again every time I drive this route HWY 40. Beautiful rustic decor as well like the inside of a northern log cabin
I had the bacon cheeseburger salad and it was amazing! Homemade thousand island dressing was so good with it. My husband had the cheeseburger and 30/70 iced tea. Our wonderful waitress nicknamed him 30/70!!!
The food was excellent. Too many low rating restaurants around town so I had to try this one. Definitely was worth it for the huge portion burgers. Manuel was a great server. He was everywhere!
This was our second visit to this location and I was very hesitant to try it again as our first visit wasn't the best. However I've discovered it's all in what you order. Upon entering we were greeted and given the choice of where we wanted to sit. We chose a booth. Which was a little broken but that was ok. The beautiful bear decor and woodwork makes up for it. We ordered a unsweetened tea and a half sweet half unsweetened tea. Their sweet tea is southern sweet for sure. I enjoyed the unsweetened tea with a little Splend... read more
