In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Server was very good (Briee). Food was awful. My CFS was one of the worst I have ever had, and coming from Texas, I know a lot about CFS. My wife's burger was so bad, the server apologized and immediately took it away. It looked like something from a month old dumpster. I felt sorry for the server, and will not be back. I did leave a nice tip for server, it was not her fault, and she was sincerely apologetic for the bad food.

Updated: Management reached out and offered me free meals to compensate for the errors, which was appreciated. We hope moving forward things will be better. --- Food is a 4 star but call in's are like a -1. We keep giving them chances, benefit of the doubt, and they just keep blowing it. We've called in orders for breakfast now 4 times over the last two months and they've either given us the wrong thing, given us the wrong total, or charged us and then didn't provide what we paid for. I'll start by saying I really like the BBD in Orem! Not so much the BBD in AF! My husband I were excited to have one nearer then Orem. The first 5-6 times we went for breakfast at the new AF BBD was great service, and food was hot, yummy and was what we ordered! Okay, about 2 weeks ago we went. Not to busy, we seated right away. We have loved the Black Bear Orem, Ut location, so we were excited to have one open in our town, American Fork. We have been twice, and won't be going back again. Very disappointing. The quality of food and especially the service is very poor in comparison. We'll be driving to the Orem location, thanks :(

Very bad service We went to have dinner tonight. We were excited it's our first time but things turn out to be a nightmare. We sat down for 20 minutes and no one came to take our order. We were about to leave. So when the server took our order it took a while to get the food. We got the food but she did not gave us any water. We've been eating for 10 minutes before we get our water.
