We came in 7:30 at night. Fed 4 adults, 4 kids (1 adult didn't order a meal) We all ordered breakfast items. It took about 30-40 minutes for our food to even arrive, and the restaurant was quite empty! My 8 yr old sons most favorite food is biscuits and gravy. My husband also ordered a side of biscuit and gravy. The biscuits were so stale you couldn't even cut them with a knife. We asked for a new plate and they were only slightly better. The service was slow. The portion of the cfs and ham on their breakfast menu was not proportional to the amount of potatoes. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger came with no bacon. We won't be back. We'll take our business back to Jim's diner. Way better food and more for your buck and they're not slow.
I usually love Black Bear dinners. We have eaten in them in California and in Orem. I would NOT recommend this one. Worst Service ever. We were seated on a little two top right by the bar area. when there was a whole bunch of larger tables available. A manager had to come and offer us drinks because the server did not. Then I asked for some butter. Had chicken fried steak and eggs eggs were not cooked correctly chicken fried steak was not hot but in fairness they were really busy on Sunday morning usually think it's really great Sunday was only medium great
Horrible service!!! My soup was only filled half way, wrong salad dressings, and 2 of our group didn't get their salads at all. My son ordered his cheeseburger without mayo and it was cold and had mayo. When we asked them for another one without sauce, they said to scrape it off. We love the Orem Black Bear and their manager. But we will never go back to the AF location.
Went for my grandma's birthday waited 2 hours 10 minutes ended up leaving after watching people who arrived way later get their food and finish. Never got our food.
