Great spot for large groups. Lots of parking. It's conveniently located near the highway and local hotels. A very large menu with something for everyone. We decided to try this diner. I loved the meal. Perfectly cooked. Our server, Sara, was awesome. Her sense of humor excellent. Her on our needs timely. Her smile sincere. She is now my favorite server. I will be back!
Well if you're looking for a serious home style food similar to Sam's number three black bear diner has it all kind of reminds me of a blackeye pea but more flavor and seasoned and cooked fresh to order only one issue is order our meal that consisted of ground beef asked for an extra well done came out still medium hot pink had to have it redone take over 20 minutes to get a replacement meal so I wasn't happy with that and the refill service coffee tea and water we sat at the bar where you eat your food right in front of eve... read more

Every time we come here the food is amazing. Most of the diners in Colorado have closed over the past few years, so choices are always limited, but we have never been disappointed in anything ordered here. The pancakes are amazing!
This was my first time here. Great place for breakfast! Pretty big menu! Menu looks like a newspaper. Portions a very big compared to other breakfast restaurants. Prices are really reasonable. The service was great! The bear decor everywhere is very cute and it gives the diner a homey feel. My veggie omelette was really good!
Hometown favorite! Love the Black Bear for breakfast and who wouldn't love a homemade biscuit as big as your head??? If you have not tried the Black Bear Diner, give it a try!
