This was my first time here. Great place for breakfast! Pretty big menu! Menu looks like a newspaper. Portions a very big compared to other breakfast restaurants. Prices are really reasonable. The service was great! The bear decor everywhere is very cute and it gives the diner a homey feel. My veggie omelette was really good!
Hometown favorite! Love the Black Bear for breakfast and who wouldn't love a homemade biscuit as big as your head??? If you have not tried the Black Bear Diner, give it a try! My favorite meal of the day is breakfast, so I will always suggest trying breakfast! Great little spot, even though this is part of a small chain out of CA I highly recommend it for comfort food & yummy breakfasts! A new favorite!
Awesome ! There are a million menu options to choose from which made it hard because they all sound so tasty ! Our server was great, the GM was upbeat and full of energy and our table was clean. It took us about 30 mins to get seated but we came at 10:30am on a Sunday so it's to be expected. Definitely much better than Ihop.
What an amazing breakfast, I got the Original Scram bowl with a biscuit and it was great. Fast and friendly service. The homemade biscuits are a must.
Today was my first time here , lunch with siblings and spouses. Great experience! Ozzy was our waiter and was great, attentive and funny. These days with everyone so short staffed and overworked, his attitude was amazing. Food was good too. I would certainly go back. Go Ozzy, employee of the month!
I was traveling for work this week and this restaurant was next to my hotel. I ate here three times and it literally saved my "lunch breaks". The meals were great, the service was great, the price was right, and the food came out fast and hot. next time I go back I'm definitely trying a pie.!
Big portions. Ok food. Waffle House is better IMO. great shakes. Nostalgic and great place for kids to check out.
We decided to stop by the newbie restaurant and the service outdid the cuisine! The food was good but the server, Roberto, was absolutely awesome! Because of him, we'll be back! He was the best waiter I've had in years! Would have tipped him a lot more if I could've!
