We have eaten here as well as order take out. We haven't been disappointed yet. The Clubhouse Sandwich is Delicious as well as their Cobb Salad (which is enough to feed 2 people). Their soups are delicious too!

The servings here are huge. And the menu is extensive. The only thing that keeps me from 5 stars is how long it took for our table to get our food.

I am a business traveler and eat out often. I am also a former customer service trainer and over the years have seen a lot of younger waters lacking in skills. Today was wonderful! A new waiter, Alec, did a nice job with both the detail of serving food and "shooting the breeze" will all of the customers at the diner stand. Both Oz and Shane jumped in to help with choosing something to order and made suggestions...appropriately friendly and informative! The food was served quickly enough and enjoyed the Reuben! God bless you!

Stopped here yesterday for lunch and loved it. Everyone of the staff had a smile on their face and seemed to enjoy their job. Husband had the giant burger and said it was fabulous. I had the veg burger and though it's not made it house, I liked it and will definitely order again. I got a house salad as my side and it was large enough to split with my husband. We wrapped the meal up with pie to go. The pie isn't a slice it's a whole little mini pie in a tin - they are both adorable and delicious.

A good breakfast any time of the day. We enjoyed a Volcano which was surprisingly "deconstructed" rather than layered and an omelette. Both entrees were very good. We were very pleased our waitress; she was kind and attentive. If you're ordering any meal that includes pancakes you should plan to share! Huge platters of food await!!!

Good breakfast. Hot coffee. Great service. What's not to like. My first stop. I'll be back.

On my recent visit, to the Black Bear Diner, I was somewhat disappointed. It took about 5 to 10 minutes for a server to come to my table after I had been seated. After my drink order and it's subsequent arrival, I placed my entree order for dinner. I was surprised when my dinner arrived, that it was the wrong dinner, and one that I had not ordered. The server walked away too quickly for me to register my displeasure at receiving a dinner order that I did not order, but since I was so hungry and the lateness of the hour I jus... read more

There are 2 things that made our visit to Black Bear Diner, a 5 star experience; John and the sweet cream pancakes! My husband really goes through water so it's rare that a waiter can keep up. They usually give up and bring him 2 glasses of water at once, but not JOHN! I don't know if he had a twin or if he was standing there waiting for my husband to run out of water, but either way, we never ran out of anything. The service was so good that we are going back today and asking to sit in John's section. The pancakes are a... read more
