In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Had a little trouble with the order and some attitude from our server, once the food was right it was good.

RecommendedLove the food but the service is lacking. We had lunch there yesterday. They were super busy, so we waited 30 minutes for a table, but then once we were seated it took 20 minutes for our waiter to come get our order or even say hello. Then anytime we asked for anything, like to go boxes, she totally forgot about us until we finally gave up and went to pay the bill. We love the food, but this seems to happen every time we go. The staff isn't attentive to there tables. Hoping for a better visit next time.
When they figure out how to toast a English muffin I might come back. The waitrest sucked. Got my order wrong. I'm thinking it should be hard to screw up one order. Ham and eggs with country potatoes but she managed to screw it up
