The food was really good. I would recommend people eating there. On the other hand the service was terrible. I have had better service from a chain burger restaurant. Took forever for the waitress to get there and then when the food finally came she didn't show up until well past us being ready to leave. But looking at most of the staff they looked like their souls had been removed from them and they were just going through the paces.

Service and quality has diminished within the last 1 year of service. I used to love Black bear, and now its just mediocre
The service stinks! Completely and totally stinks! I have been there a handful of times including this afternoon and every time I go there I get poor service. The waitress I had this afternoon was rude and left basic things go for way too long! We were there for an hour and half just for lunch because it took forever to order our drinks, order our food, wait for the food and wait for the check. Awesome breakfast menu and I love the national Forrest support. However it's extremely disappointing to see that the employees are not allowed to show off their tattoos and piercings. It's nothing to do with professionalism and everything to do with discrimination. Our server and host were lovely and I'm certain their tattoos and piercings they were obviously covering up, would not impede their ability to work. I would rather see the actual art on their bodies than the Band-Aids and arm bands they use to comply with work pol... read more

Waited 20 min to be seated, Waited 10 min to get water, waited 30 min and still didn't get our food, no one came and said anything the entire time. Really bad Service.
