For some reason they seated us in the back room. They wanted us to sit at a table even though the booths were open. The tables were way too close together. We were then seated under the a/c vent. Our server was very attentive, but our food took a really long time and there was a long delay between me getting my order, and my husband getting his food. My fries were cold and totally bland. The patty melt was nothing special. We won't be back.

On a Sunday morning (5/18/25) when they were busy and it took them a few minutes to get us seated at the bar, we received our food over an hour after we arrived. We had to take it to go because we were busy. I'm not sure how it tasted because it ended up going bad before I could eat it. I don't understand how food takes 1 hour to cook when people who came after us 2 people were receiving their food. The only explanation is they forgot our order, or messed it up and had to remake it. First time we came in really good service. The food needed some help but they seem to have figured that out. We just left from lunch. This time the service needed help. It takes me a lot to write a bad review but your servers are so argumentative. Manny was our waitress staff. Marcya is just plain rude. The girl at the register seems lost. Tuvimos una mala experiencia en el nuevo Black Bear Diner. Esperamos más de 15 minutos para que alguien nos atendiera, y nuestra mesera, Marci, pasó varias veces sin siquiera mirarnos. Otros empleados, al ver la situación, fueron mucho más atentos y hasta nos ofrecieron café. Marci claramente no debería estar trabajando con atención al cliente. Muy decepcionante.

Haven been to a Black Bear restaurant before and tried the hamburger was very disappointed on the food At that location .one opened up around the corner where I live and my husband has never eaten at a Black Bear restaurant. So we went so he try it. He had the ham and eggs breakfast. Eggs were suppose to be over easy well there weren't . Hash browns were burned . Took my daughter and wife on Mother's Day. The lady Marcie at the front is so rude. The way she talks to people is not okay. We waited for over two hours for our order to be wrong. This place has potential, they need to get their customer service together though.
Came in the morning. Took forever find our waiter. Could barley understand him. I'm sure Oscar is a nice guy but not good waiter. Food was cold. Won't be back
Wow - where do I start, how about the hostess quoting everyone 10 minutes when they walk in the door even though the restaurant was full and lobby/outside area was full of people waiting (should have known that was not accurate but wanted to believe her). 30 minutes later they seat 5 grown adults on a table for 4 (but okay we will get close). Next the table top is broken and wobbles like an 8.2 earthquake anytime anyone moves (at a restaurant that just opened??). Sit at the table for 20 minutes and no one says a word to us.... read more
