I went to eat there and their prime rib breakfast was extremely overpriced, and it wasn't very good food this time, compared to the last time that I went and had it. Also, they advertised that they had lowered their prices, but I haven't seen any lower prices. That is false advertising, in my opinion. I will not be foung there anymore. I'm very disappointed.

I went to breakfast with my wife, it was her birthday, we had a very bad experience, we arrived at 9:20 am, we ordered omelets and 40 minutes passed and they didn't serve us breakfast, we left the restaurant very angry and sad about the bad service offered by BLACK BEAR DINER.

Don't waste your time or Gas. it's no better than the Valencia Location. Went there last night. only difference is it's cleaner and newer. The food isn't any better. The A/C does work, not like Valencia. We ordered two Turkey Club Sandwichs. My We waited almost 30 minutes for two sandwiches. Really? The place only had 6 people in it. Plenty of staff walking ‍ around talking. My wife ordered a cup of chili as an add on for extra money. The sandwiches finally came, but no chili. We've been to several BB diners. They all seem to be either really good or very bad. This new BB Diner is BAD! We went for breakfast. I ordered biscuits and gravy with bacon-crisp. Our waitress wrote that down. My husband ordered a scramble with sausage patties. Well...my bacon was so under cooked that the fat was still white in places. I sent it back and quickly got tasty crispy bacon. My husband's so-called "scramble" was 2 fried eggs with the yolk broke. No scrambled egg in sight. The appeal with this location is that it is another option for the communities on this end of town to have a sit down place to eat. But unfortunately this business has some work to do in the way of food quality. It's unfortunate that the chicken in both dishes we ordered tasted as though it was hours old and everything was extremely salty. The iced tea we ordered was fresh and tasty. The ambiance in the restaurant was nice and everything was clean. But they did have the AC pumping a little high so you might need a sweater.... read more

Food was cold and order was incorrect. Not even my kid ate his food. There was also only 1 other party there when we arrived, first thing in the morning about an hour after they opened, so I'm not sure why the food was cold. Service was okay, which is why I gave them 2 stars.

This was my second time at Black Bear Diner. The first was in Valencia, and it was for dinner. I was not happy with the meal or the very slow service, so I thought I would try Breakfast at the new location in Canyon Country, with my husband. Our waitress was not having a good day. I was excited to have a new breakfast spot in Santa Clarita but it did not meet my expectations. Bad customer service, the food was not up to par, and they did not make it right.

Service as terrible as can be . We were excited to have a new sit down restaurant in our neighborhood . But to our surprise the order was all wrong when brought to our table . The manager Gladys was super unpleasant did not show compassion and did nothing to fix the mistakes, to be honest I think she didn't understand our concerns her English was horrible . I will not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends POOR SERVICE !
