Old carpet, dirty floors, dirty bathrooms, smelled dirty. Outside of building freshly painted, landscaping nice.

Our waitress totally forgot about us and was sitting there talking to her coworker. We finally left after waiting 45 minutes to get a drink. Plus she was super rude from the start.

If i would give 0 stars i would. We arrived at 10:00am for breakfast today. We didn't get our drinks until about 10:30 and that is only because we asked another server not to mention i ordered a vanilla iced coffee but received a mocha but that was the least of my concerns. I ordered pancakes and bacon but received biscuit's and gravy.. the complete opposite. We have been here for 2 hours. No one came to check on our food or even bring us a check. So this is my first review on yelp. This morning was the third time I've had breakfast there and decided to write this review in hopes that the owner/management might make some needed improvements. I had high expectations for a new restaurant in town, particularly one that opened early for breakfast. The first time was only a few days after they opened, that was terrible. Very slow service, and the food feels underwhelming for the price point. Diner staples are all on the menu, but the quality isn't better than any of the much cheaper diners in the area, and lower than many of the other franchise locations I've been to. Pretty disappointing, considering the hype this place had when it opened

We gave the Chico Black Bear Diner three tries. The first time it was only open a month. We excused the lukewarm pot roast and mashed potatoes. The next time was five weeks later. It wasn't bad and just pretty average. However, the third time wasn't the charm. My son and granddaughter were served in a pretty timely fashion; however, I waited an additional eight minutes to get my entree. Doesn't seem like long until you're sitting and watching others eat. Worst service ever got here at 11:20am with a 20min waiting time and sat down at 11:35 didn't get my order taken till 12:00 and didn't get our food 1:15pm wtf

Worst restaurant experience ever. I ordered Tri-Tip and ribs... both were raw in the middle. My coleslaw was rotten and smelled disgusting. I literally almost threw up just smelling the coleslaw. I don't understand how a restaurant can let food that's obviously rotten be served. This is disgusting. This is a $23.99 meal... so very expensive and you get this trash. I returned meal and would not eat the food. I won't be returning

it's sad to serve such great diner food but to have such terrible service doing it. I have eaten at dozens of BBDs - this was by far the worst service I have ever experienced at a BBD. When you charge somebody 4.00 bucks for a cup of coffee. I would think you would keep there mug full?
