Had a great meal there this past weekend. We had a fantastic server (Hannah) who could not have been more friendly or professional. Recommend this for a good home style meal.
First visit to new Chico B B was not to impressive!! Service was a bit slow, had to ask for 2nd cup of coffee, had to ask for leftover box's, an biggest complaint was the prices!!! Will not be back tell they lower there prices back to normal!!!!!
Enjoyed an amazing thanksgiving lunch at Black Bear with family today, food and presentation was excellent. Short on staff, servers were great. We will definitely be returning and enjoying this restaurant. Highly recommend.

Can't expect much more from Black Bear. Massive portions as always. Food was hot and fresh. Went in after seeing a bunch of bad reviews just to see how bad it really was. It wasn't. A lot of the servers there were young. It was slow, went in about 330. I could have used a little more attentiveness, but that will come in time once they learn that's how they're going to make their money. Everyone has been complaining about the prices. Sammy is absolutely the best server I have ever had anywhere! She was so sweet and has a really awesome personality! You guys are lucky to have her on the team! The food was really good also!
I stopped by this place for my first time and it did not disappoint. The food was great! My waitress, Mercedes did a great job ensuring we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to meet our expectations. She was great! I will definitely be popping by again. A great new addition to Chico!
Service was great! The atmosphere felt comfy just like any other Blackbear I've been to. My experience met my expectations and surpassed them. The hostess Paige helped us assisting us as we waited to be seated despite the rush hour. Our server Mercedes was beyond attentive while still managing her other tables. The food was amazing, and it was increasingly better than I could've expected from a brand new opened restaurant
I'd recommend! My server was Mercedes and she was an absolute sweet heart. All servers are nice and they are helpful. The food was great as well as not much of a wait time.
