I don't come to Black Bear Diner very often. But, when I do, I order the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Combo. It is normally really good. But this morning, the cinnamon roll was overcooked - not enough to send back but I probably should have. It was dry and not enjoyable. My wife ordered a ham and cheese omelette that had way too much ham and not nearly enough cheese. And, her hash browns were also overcooked. Overall, a very poor experience especially since they were not busy at all.

Horrible food! I ordered the prime rib and it was thin and looked like an over cooked steak. I ordered it medium rare and it was well done. So I got the meatloaf instead and that was straight up hospital food! No flavor, gross and bland. My sis ordered the salmon and it was dry. Vegetables were still raw. My mom's coffee tasted like metal! We've never had such a bad experience at any Black Bear Diner's. We will not return to this location. Second time here and it's a ghost town. Now we know why!

My wife & I tried to eat here on Thanksgiving. Our waitress was VERY CONDESCENDING and RUDE. She seemed allergic to existing and acted annoyed by my wife's questions, and her fake eyelashes didn't impress us at all. I'm sure the rest of the staff are the same damned way. Who runs out of soup, and it's not even busy? So, with that, we departed, and made our swansong visit to this OVER-RATED choke-&-puke official. Enjoy!!!!

Very disappointed with the service and unprofessionalism from the manager here "Cat" or "Kat" who refused to speak with me and my party regarding a request. Typically, there has never been any issues before but this was kind of the last straw we have had. There is no progression but a regression here at this restaurant. They also have not updated their new restaurant number online. If the manager here continues with the same attitude about her attention to detail or concern with her customers, the only thing carrying this pl... read more

It's like Dennys or IHop wearing a tuxedo instead of casual Fridays gear...What?! Theme of the restaurant having carved bears everywhere on wooden pillars was well thought out and excuse my French "cute"But...the prices and food just didn't match the ambiance.Chikn fried steak had a light crispy batter...unfortunately was way too salty.Upgrading to a side of pancakes instead of toast came with an up charge of $5 on an already $24 meal. What made us salty was the $70 price tag which included 18% tip for 2 bekfast plates and a ... read more

The food was delicious minus the little strand of hair on my plate, the unkept women's restroom or the fact that we waited 20 minutes for the check before having to go to the front counter to tell the hostess.

This place was a disappointment. My girl and I went in for Sunday breakfast. The prices are high for breakfast and the quality is average, at best. The service was slow. When I ordered my coffee , it took almost 10 minutes and i had to request a spoon 3 times. The waitress explained at the end that they simply don't have enough spoons at this location. Lol Ridiculous

I enjoyed eating here on occasion, but this will be my last time due to the gross FLY that arrived inside my son's Shasta Scramble. I have posted photos and video. The lid was never opened by us, my son has a great eye and spotted the fly prior to opening up.
