Have been coming to Black Bear Diner since they open because the food is always good and service used to be excellent, BUT today unfortunately it seems that the task being applied by management seem to overwhelm the server staff with an undesirable outcome. Servers are doing it all, waiting tables, cleaning and picking up dishes, sitting and arranging guests which give them no time to take good care of its customers. I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed with the experience we had at your establishment today. We came in around 11:15 AM for my niece's birthday breakfast. It didn't even look busy, yet we were quoted a 15-minute wait--which we understood--but then watched group after group that arrived after us get seated before us. Half our party of 6 was already there (3 of us), and my sister was literally 5 minutes away. We still weren't acknowledged or seated until 11:25. First time coming to this place with my family, they sit us down and we've waited for almost 15 minutes and we didn't get no drinks or menu while waiting. We just got up and left and they finally decided to serve us. They completely ignored us and attended everyone on the other side. The food didn't even look good looking at others people food so I'm glad we left. Awful and rude service.

The food was horrible, the omelette I order onions and peppers we not sauteed long enough, they we so hard. Potatoes was hard also. The cook is horrible me & my husband stopped by on a Tuesday morning whoever the cook is needs to do better. I have been to other Black Bear Diners and the one in Rialto California, the quality of food is poorer. I've came to the Rialto one a few times and it's different each time. The salads have old lettuce and the other Black Bear diners don't. Only Rialto branch. I bought a loaded salad to take home and got home and there was very chicken on it. Visiting on my trip . Came in the evening for Easter and servers were working hard older lady was not helping and was sitting and eating on the phone . I could only feel bad for those young girls

The manager that has no respect for handicap parking. He use it for his own personal parking spot. For that disrespect for the disabled I will not eat there again.04/16/2025

Arrived at 7:35 pm on 3/20/25, waitress said they close at 8:00 pm so they closed the kitchen at 7:30 pm. I've never heard of such nonsense! Thanks for nothing! They need to update their hours so customers don't waste their time!

Ordered corned beef hash, it was dry and tasteless, hash brown smelled and tasted like old oil from a deep fryer..YUCk..and toast was barely buttered and barely toasted. Waitress was so sweet, she's too good for that place. She gave me 50% off the meal which was way overpriced anyway. Shame on the chef..he doesn't care. Seriously unacceptable and I'll never go back and spend my hard earned money there.
