Worst meal in Cottonwood we have ever had. Waitress was not the best...she didn't seem to care about our requests or complaints. Cashiers didn't seem surprised about the bad meal. She only took off 10%. Will never go back.
Food came cold, manager in the purple shirt knew, was reprimanding kitchen staff and served us cold burgers even after b*tching to them about our food. Some type of computer glitch where orders were deleted, and it caused everybody's food to be messed up. Our waitress was super nice, she did get me a new order of onion rings. We tipped her 20% and told her, her manager was a d*ck, and it was our first and last time there. ALSO, our burgers were brought to us well done n we asked for medium.
So... Meh. Slow, not so great service. Burned my chicken parm... Twice. Keep trying ��
Is this black Bear, EVER going to get it right. Ordered an order to go of Chicken/Apple sausage scramble with crispy well done hash browns. Stupidly didn't check it before I got home. Potatoes barely even done, still hard. Had pieces of regular chicken and some pieces of what "some would call" sausage, not sure if they were even egg whites. NOT chicken/-apple sausage. Told the person who took my order I don't eat pork. I'm pretty certain when I got home all I had correct was the tomatoes instead of toast. Happy 4th of July ... read more

Expected the excellent service that I've experienced at other Black Bear restaurants� Seated quickly got my drink then I was forgotten till I asked if I could get someone to take my order. Cornbread was disappointing.....cold and crumbled while attempting to cut it.

We have dined at the Cottonwood location a few times now and at various times of the day. For the most part, the service tends to be very slow no matter how many customers are in the restaurant, the quality of the food, atmosphere and service not outwardly special or unique to want to recommend or bring out of town guests to, therefore, my review is not deserving of anything beyond a 3. Our waitress was extremely inattentive and disinterested, and needed us to repeat our orders several times, even though it was not that noisy. Left out part of my meal and then let something get added to my friends plate that we specifically asked not to be in her food. Took forever to get a seat, forever to get our food, and overall was sub par. Just go to Randall's or another local place next time until black bear gets their act together.
