Thank you Black Beat Diner for inviting us to your VIP opening. Everything was spectacular. Service was incredible, Management was right on top of things. Food was fresh, well prepared and delicious. And for me, best of all no TV, no music!!! My guest and I could carry on a conversation without yelling at each other, and we could linger over our food without loud, fast music urging us to eat quickly. Staff was focusing more on the online orders then the actual people that are here 45 min wait with 70% of tables available is a sad thing they had 4 people focusing on the online orders and only two waiters food was good just its a diner
Lousy service and food. The employees never smile. Always making faces. The manager was nowhere in sight. People waited to be seated, yet lots of tables were empty and clean. The hostess was also a cashier and waitress. Lousy place.
The food is great but overpriced and there is a constant turn over of waitresses. The style of the dinner is that of old time America. Me and my wife use to go there all the time but the prices kept going up and we could no longer afford it.

I wouldn't know if the foods any good, I can't comment on the ambiance other than not to friendly, service is underwhelming considering i just got kicked out because, "We're not open right now!" It's 6:15am and they're still not open yet! Then change your hours!!!
