In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Everyone was working in SLOW motion. The host took 10 minutes to clean our table. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food for a party of five. When the food came out, they pieced it out. The four of us were almost done eating before the last person received his WAFFLE. Didn't know it was so complex making a waffle. The manager was no where to be found. I definitely will not be back! Such a shame as the location In Colorado Springs was sooo good.

Most of the time I love this place. Today it was awful. Turkey club was dry n missing bread parts. The service was bad. Think I'll wait awhile before going back. This was my 4 times a month. Not anymore.

1 hour 37 min seen waitress 2 times once for order and an hour and 15 min later coffee, food came out like it had been in the refrigerator.. Never again, completely incompetent..

Love the food and waitress she was on it, with service...... all the years I've been driving truck. This place was the BEST.....! definitely better then iron skillet or country kitchen. They went to shits. TA's and Petro's needs to change to BLACK BEAR DINER........
