I'm not sure how the food tastes - we left before we could try any. No one greeted us/asked how many in our party. There was a group in front of us that said they were waiting 10 mins....just to be seated! When someone finally came to ask our party's amount, I asked if we could sit at an open table while we wait and was told no. We left after that.

I was excited to try this diner but sadly I won't be back after the first visit. Outside and inside are done really cute and I so wanted the food to be good. I got 2 eggs, two bacon, potatoes and a giant biscuit. I don't know how they did it but my supposed to be over easy eggs weren't cooked and the whites were runny and not cooked. Plus they were sitting in water. Not sure how that happens. I'm 73 and have cooked a lot of eggs but never had my egg whites and water competing for the same spot. So then the yellow was barely... read more

We went to Black Bear Diner expecting good food. While waiting for our table the service staff was sent to the waiting room with patrons waiting to be seated. The manager began to verbally berate the staff in front of diners. She even called out certain waitstaff by name further humiliating them. We then went to manager and told her that we felt she should not be doing this in public. The manager was at first defensive saying that was the only spot large enough to accommodate employees. We explained that was not the way t... read more

Let be start with the good. This place was nice, clean, and well lit. The server (Dylan?) was outstanding. It was only his 5th day, but he was great and tried very hard. We went for dinner, and started with the fresh baked bear claw (why not?) with blackberry filling. It came out warm, gooey and the center was magma-hot. Would recommend! The tomato basil soup had the taste of straight tomato, with very little seasoning. It arrive at the table slightly above lukewarm. The wife got the patty melt (and she's a connoisse... read more

Yikes! Ordered food, 15 minutes later waiter came to say they were out of Tri-tip , we reordered one meal but they made all other meals sit in the kitchen under a mild heat lamp. Horrible service- like 10 customers 15 staff and no one knows what to do. Where is the management?? kitchen sent out the worst sandwich I've ever seen! 5 slices of bread in a row plain and dry chunks of chicken and a little bit of cheese totally got order wrong. Didn't put anything when it was supposed to be a chicken and avocado club sandwich. Poor... read more

They gave us a 30 minute wait time and we left a phone number. After 44 minutes we called and they said we had canceled.

No picture this time since it was basic waffle, ham, and eggs, but wanted to try someplace new and was left completely disappointed. First the food.. the eggs were pretty good and the habanero hot sauce they have wasn't bad for that. The ham was def real ham which was good, but very bland and wasn't grilled to make it great. The waffle, imo wasn't that great, though. Whole thing was very soft (usually the edges are a little crispy, but this was very soft which is kinda weird for me when I wanted a actual waffle. All of ... read more

Ordered the sausage sliders to-go. Was disgusting. I asked for no cheese and they added a ton. This meal comes with a side and it was not on there. The sausage was all grease. Will never return. Don't waste your money.
