I have actually eaten at Black Bear 4 times now. Each time I have been to Black Bear in Great Falls my meal has taken an excessive amount of time to be delivered. The restaurant was not that busy at all. There were may 5 tables filled in the entire restaurant and had to wait for well over 40 minutes for our meals. Each time I have been there I have been very disappointed in the service there. Also, I feel that several of the waitresses that I have had are not trained thoroughly on the menu. I ordered the Ruben snadwhich. After I had started to eat the sandwhich I found a broken toothpick inside the meat. It looked like it was broken and I couldn't find the other half. I ate half of the half and brought the rest home. The Manager walked by and asked how our meal was and I told her about the toothpick. She looked at it, said she was sorry and walked off. Came for lunch. Restaurant half empty. 4 different employees gave us different wait times. I ordered plain bacon cheeseburger w/fries. I got a loaded hamburger with sauces and no cheese, fries tasted stale. I like a coke with lunch. Only had Pepsi.

I had eggs benedict. The eggs were overcooked and the Hollandaise was mediocre. We developed GI tract issues an hour-and-a-half after eating there. Yechh!

I already sent you a note on my first experience at your diner and you didn't even acknowledge I had anything to say. That was on 01/27/2019, you can bet I'll have plenty to say when someone askes me about your restraunt in the future. You didn't do yourself any favors. Great Falls is a fairly small town, I'll tell everyoneI can about my experience. Thanks for not responding Brian

Good Morning: My wife and I along with my brother and his wife were in the Great Falls Diner last night 01/26/2019. My wife and I are retired so we have to watch where we go and what we spend. This was our first visit and we we got seated about 5;30 pm. Our server Amanda got our drink order and came back about 10 minutes later. I sent in a review last week and tried to contact the V.P. of operations. The email address you provided was incorrect or not working. When I complained about my meal, the staff didn't offer any resolution. Randall Coty

My wife and I decided to try the new restaurant for our anniversary. We arrived at 4:30pm and after looking at all the empty tables thought it won't take so long. We were told it would be at least 30 minutes and I said was really after seeing the empty tables. After standing around I seen a lot more waiting and really didn't understand. While waiting, people were still coming in and now the wait time was an hour or more. People were leaving because of the wait and now the empty tables increased to 15. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the greeter was great, the service was terrible from the waitress. Our waitress was more interested in other things than customer service. Had desserts to go and she did not give the right dessert. The cook was fantastic, great tasting food. Just need better service.
