i am a disabled vet which i have to use a scooter to get around. as we entered Black Bear we look for a wait to be seated, no sign. my wife and i seated our selves only to be made to vacate the table which accommodated my scooter. we were ask to go back by the door. the host finally returned to the front. we did not even know there was a host? we were seated back at the same table we were at. we were told by 2 people there was a wait to be seated sign? when leaving we asked to see the sign and was told THERE WAS NO SIGN!!! ... read more

The restaurant is nice but the hamburger I had was was bad. The meat was dry and over cooked. The flavor tasted like meat burned on the barbecue. I won't be ordering another one again.

We arrived at 11:20 on a Saturday morning. We were seated 35 minutes latter, not too ad. My sister ordered a burger with American cheese instead of Swiss and they put both on. I ordered Biscuits & Gravey, hash browns & Sausage links. Not enough gravey, my hash browns were not delivered until I asked about them. 10 minutes latter whe I was finally able to flag down a waitress. The food is really good but the service and the wait was not fun at all. I watched people leave that had been seated and not waited on and people leave when the hostess told them there would be a 30 minute wait. I do have a few suggestions for you please. first when you have empty tables and there were 7 when we were there. they should seat the people and at least give them water. Been in 4 times and it isn't getting much better. Service is slow and the wait staff doesn't listen well. Food when you get it is ok but food sits waiting to be delivered until complete order is ready. I love that a military discount is given but cashier either has to get a manager or says he can do it and then doesn't. When we walked in a man asked how many, said just a minute walked off and didn't come back. We were greeted by another person who said it would be a 15 minute wait - only half of the tables were occupied so I asked why and she said they were Short Staffed. I can't speak to the quality of the food since we never got that far. We were told a 25-30 minute wait. We waited past that time, looking at several empty tables and an entirely empty counter, as well as at several members of the staff standing around casually chatting with each other. We finally just left. Probably won't go back. Honestly, in a community like Great Falls, I don't see this business lasting over a year without serious revision of its operations.

So after several horrible experiences at your pocatello store before it closed. We decided to try the one in Great Falls with my adult children and grandchildren. We were in the restraunt for appx 2 hrs. The food marginal at best. I ordered 2 eggs with 2 pieces of toast. 9 dollars they tried to charge me for it. Of course I didnt pay it.
