We stopped in for lunch, got our check for $29.00. We left a tip on the table then went to the register and were charged $33.00. When we left we realized they had added a tip to the bill. We will not return to this Black Bear Diner They won’t rip us off again

We went there on Friday morning, they were not busy. Our order was the only one on the screen and there was only 2 other tables of a 2 top and 4. While our food sat up there and was ready to be served our waitress sat by the kitchen and talked to two ladies. We waited about 15 minutes till she brought it to our table, once that happened she never returned till my husband and daughter were done with their meals, not even a refill on our waters. Every time we go lately the service gets worse. Tonight was a bad experience my Family and I ate there. Our server was horrible she couldn’t remember anything we asked for. I had to ask her twice for stuff and sometimes she didn’t even get it so I asked another server walking by and they brought it right away. Yes they were busy but doesn’t mean you don’t service us. Needs better customer service. Had to wait a good 10 min befor being seated or even acknowledged. Went there 2 time in a week Dec 23th and 25th and they got are order wrong both times. The food is fine they just need some work on consumer service and getting the orders out right.

pancakes are really good. Been there 3 times and every time the service was terrible. No professional service. mistake after mistake on simple orders. Clearly no training for these servers. No matter how good the food the service is a must have. Wont be going back.

Bad, bad, horrible service. The restaurant was absolutely empty but for 6 tables in the restaurant only two which were 6 tops,3 servers on the floor and two cooks on the line, and 1 manager on staff there is no way a family of seven should have had to I’m wait over 20 minutes before we decided to leave, without ever being sat or updated on what was going on. I am a server who has been serving for 9 years and this is the worst, borderline discrimination. Fix your staff, please fix this I love this food an besides the service... read more

There was 5 of us...we got our drinks BUT it took over hr. To get out food .. was not happy about that!
