Very disappointed, it took them 45 minutes to even get our drinks! Will NOT be coming back.
Worst service I ever received at a restaurant, and we hadn't even gotten seated. The wait staff is good, but the hostess staff is the most rude, disrespectful, and ignorant girls I have ever had to come in contact with. We were standing waiting for our table and received nothing but dirty looks and snide comments from the hostesses. Decided that we wouldn't give money to a business who let their staff treat customers like that. I will be contacting corporate.
When we travel to Las Vegas or Boise we always make it a priority to stop and feast at the Black Bear. Last night we stopped at the new one in Idaho Falls and was very disappointed in all aspects of our time there. Unfortunately we most likely will not be going back there. On the bright side I'm looking forward to my trip to Boise soon so I can enjoy the one there
We ordered a basket of fries to start and they came out over done. I let our waitress know and she had some new ones put in. The food wasn't the best. The hamburger was a little over done, the toast was burnt, and the pancake wasn't cooked. Luckily the waitress was great! I love Black Bear Diner in Utah so I hope to see this one live up to their reputation. We will definitely try it again once they have been open for a little while. Thanks Karlee for being an amazing waitress though!
Was very disappointed in the food and the service.
Tried it out for the first time. Given our drinks by the hostess. Waited 10 minutes for the waitress. Waitress didn't even tell us the special for the night, basically told me what came with my meal, didn't give me the choices that the menu said. Got our dinner pretty fast. But wife's didn't have all her order, mine was short my veggies. Waitress didn't ever come to see how our meal was!! A couple of weeks ago I ate at the Black Bear Diner in Pocatello and had chicken and waffle. It was so delicious that I have been craving it ever since. Last night I went to the Idaho Falls location to satisfy my craving for chicken and waffle. I have to say I was a little disappointed. The Pocatello location definitely wins the chicken and waffle contest. The difference was the chicken. At the Pocatello location they serve deep fried chicken tenders.
