Very good breakfast. Friendly service and giant portions. They have options for people that need smaller portions. Highly recommend

Decided to do an impromptu breakfast date and now I'm obsessed! I got the sweet cream pancakes with sausage, and scrambled eggs. The pancakes were so delicious, the sausage links had a little kick to them which I loved and the eggs were fresh. I also got the biscuits and gravy and let me tell you, that had to be my favorite! I'm so happy that I have leftovers! My daughter got the same and hers came with fresh fruit. My husband got chicken fried steak and it was very hearty! He even had leftovers. One thing I was impress... read more

Excellent, glad that we finally got one in McAllen. Everything was amazing, from their fork tender CFS, to their loaded hashbrowns. My entree came with 2 biscuits, and they came on their own platter. My guest got the Cinnamon Roll French Toast meal, and she loved it. They provided us a sample their fresh squeezed OJ, and it was delicious. I'm definitely coming back for their lunch/dinner offerings. Bring your appetite, the portions are huge!

Breakfast food is usually pretty good, but geez they are slow! It usually takes anywhere from 45 min to an hour to get our food and we've gone during breakfast and dinner.

The food is awfully bland not a single person liked what they orderedand my sister's lemonade was THICK like syrup we had to send it back. The service was okay nothing wrong but nothing that made our day better. The ambiance was awful it was muggy I'm not sure if there was something wrong with the ac bc one of the workers tried making it cooler with the thermostat and nothing happened. The only highlight was the gift shop, but even then we we aren't going back.

Went in , a little hesitant of the food, since the aspect did not look very clean; even though was clean but decided to give it a try. Order something basic, me and wife order meatloaf . The presentation was different , was with dark gravy . The taste was ok . Overall after we finished eating. Came to a conclusion that we won't go back .

I waited over a year since they opened to go. There was a lot of hype about their biscuits and I heard mixed things, so I figured it would be good to give them time to get things on point. It really just wasnt very good. I ordered the big chicken fried steak. It literally tasted like a tv dinner, but with a much better crisp to the batter. The hashbrowns had no seasoning at all. The biscuits are huge, but they just arent very good. Texture is fine, if a bit dry, but they didnt really have flavor. I only had one b... read more

Had a bad experience Christmas day me and my cousin went to have breakfast at McAllen location got there early, was told by staff that they were not open until 8am so I turned around to let my cousin know as I walked out the lady locked the door behind me .that was very rude of her she could have offered us to wait in seating area until they opened but didn't. I work at a restaurant myself our seating area is small but I make my customers feel wanted and this lady didn't care.so I'm not sure if I will be turning to re... read more

Let me start by saying I actually love this chain. I'm a regular at one near Houston. I go regularly and usually there is a wait to get in. Not this one. It was close to empty. I should have walked out right then. I ordered small chicken fried steak. Food came out. Steak was in a puddle grease almost no gravy. Cold mashed potatoes. Actually just disgusting. I'd say this place is a hard pass. I mention problem to server with no response. Terrible, no Wonder place was close to empty. If you're the owner( get new management fas... read more
