The cooks at Black are phenomenal. The place was crowded but the cooks managed get out my order fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. Cooks don't get many kudos but this crew deserves it.

Had my breakfast at 8:00pm. The coffee was strong. The breakfast was delicious and very hot. They are very generous with their portion's. They make the best pancakes in texas. Our server Autumn was very polite , courteous and attentive.

You get huge portions for your money but I'm not really a big eater so I had to share my breakfast. There is definitely a significant change in the staff since they first opened. The Grand opening staff was what brought me back to the second visit. Overall, the food is worth the money..

Just had an amazing experience at Black Bear Diner. The food matches the price and the server, Mercedes, was top notch with me and my guests. Never had to wait for a tea refill. Nice location, I'm definitely come back.

Our server, Leslie M was amazing! Breakfast was great and was so much food for a great price! I had to get a to go box! Their coffee is the best! I even got some to go! We love this place and will be returning!

We came in this afternoon after the breakfast rush but still waited about 20 minutes for a table of 4. My suegro looovees Black Bear so we decided to take him for Fathers Day they ordered the Volcano breakfast 10/10 I got the mini volcano 10/10 & my bf got the Original scrambowl 6/10 he preferred to not have the gravy on top... next time he'll ask for it on the side "ham was good in the bowl" We love coming here, we will be back again to eat more breakfast!! Food, food, food! Huge portions of absolutely delicious "mom and pop" food. My friends and I always have burgers and I am not a big red meat eater, but these are worth it . Great desserts, like bread, puddings, and pies and cinnamon rolls that actually have the filling all the way through! I've been to three of these and the service is always good as well.
