I would like to give this restaurant five stars for the food from the last 4 visits. Our last visit, on a Tuesday, they didn't make the great hashbrowns and orange juice. They claim the hashbrowns are made from scratch and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. The waitress expressed that a part from the orange machine was lost from the orange juice machine and the hashbrowns were out at the warehouse. Another visit the manager said the brownies crust was trimmed off all the brownies sold there. THE BEST PART OF ANY BROWNI... read more

This cafe is super cute with its theme of black bears ! Reminds me of being in Colorado. The food is amazing! I had the Bob's Big Black Bear Burger ! Oh my, it lived up to its name! It was delicious, moist, and hit all the hamburger needs you want! Ask for Susie, she is the sweetest waitress!

After just calling in orders and picking them up I decided to dine in at the Black Bear for the first time. The Hostess Amber always helped me at the register while picking up my orders, always greeted with a smile and was super polite. Well the same when I dined in tonight. She suggested some damn good blackberry Cobbler with ice cream when I asked about dessert. The food was great, and service was as well, but Amber outshined it all. It always feels good about the place you eat when you're greeted with someone that enjoys ... read more

Restaurant relatively empty at lunch time. Only a few employees on shift. It took them over 5 minutes to acknowledge and sit us. Took another 10 minutes for waitress to come over and take drink and food order. Hubby loved his open face hot turkey sandwich dinner. My hamburger was very tasty, however, the fries were limp and undercooked. We were done with the meal before the waitress checked on us. Food was overall good. Service was friendly but very poor. Loved the design of the restaurant, very cute. We'll stocked condimen... read more

Black Bear Diner was not what I expected. I guess I should have expected a diner because heck, diner is in the name. However, I expedited a stand alone restaurant. This one was in a TA service station (truck stop). The food was average and nothing memorable. I ordered the Tri-Tip Dip, but it seemed like each half of the sandwich had a small piece of Tri-Tip on it along with some roast beef similar to lunch meat. The flavor was not bad, it just didn't seem like high quality ingredients. The cole slaw was pretty good. I... read more
