The food is usually good. The prices are reasonable as well. The only things I don't care for is the service, it's slow. I've been here well over 5 times. And it's always like this slow service whether it's busy or not. The waitresses are not attentive at all. They just take your order and don't come back. If you go on a weekend you will have a long wait time.

Loved this place. The food is always amazing and the service is great as well. When I was there I tried the scam bowl. It tasted absolutely amazing- not too much of any flavor. Our server Leslie was great! We felt right at home her conversation with us felt like we knew her forever. The manager on duty doesn't go unnoticed. Victoria stopped by the table and made sure everything was going great for us. I will definitely be back! Black bear is my new favorite place.

We took the kids to Black bear a bit ago when one was craving eggs and the other pancakes - we didn't feel like cooking and wanted something different than the Denny's or ihop in the area that I haven't been to in years. I looked up reviews for places nearby and came across this place just a hair north of clear lake into Pasadena.
