In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. We came in on Saturday morning and the place was packed. There was a 25 minute so we opted to eat outside. Our server, Kim, was pleasant and attentive. Although the restaurant was packed it was not too loud walking through to the outside dining room. The portions were large and we couldn't eat all of our food. The biscuit itself was a meal! And both dishes weee delicious. There is an extensive menu so you can order pretty much what you want. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food .. variety of menu options. The service is good especially the morning crew.. great ambiance but to cold.

I like the decor. Place was very busy when I got here. Even though it was packed server was great. Wendy makes me want to come back here more often for the food and service. She had us laughing the whole time.

I love this place! I didn't take pictures this time but the food was incredible as always. Service was great! The vibe was amazing, aura points!

Food and ambience is incredible. Victoria is wonderful, brings the word of the God to all of her tables and delivers excellent service!!
