Our big breakfast combo was insanely hearty (we split and it was still a lot), and the chicken fried steak was really good. The rest of the items (eggs, hashbrowns, the unreasonably large biscuits) were just okay. Our waiter Vanessa was SO nice though! We came here on a Groupon and that's probably how we'd return.

Great for our needs, big breakfast plates and killing time. Staff was friendly and we left stuffed and satisfied.

The food here is great, & you receive generous portions. A bit pricey but worth it But their tartar sauce tastes just like mayonnaise, they need to improve this, it was terrible They have new combos & we tried their fish & shrimp combo. The shrimp cocktail sauce was good though

We've been to the Black Bear Diner on 82nd Ave (across from Eastport) several times. We like to divide their large Reuten sandwich with stacks of thin-sliced corned beef. Very good choice, now that other places we liked closed. Service can be slow or average, even during off hours. Weekends will have you waiting in a tiny reception space. Many of the full dinners are huge, with a need for a to-go box. The one issue I have is how cold it is. Most people keep their coats on. I'm guessing that (1) they want to create t... read more

This location is near 82nd and Powell -- across from the Walmart plaza. We came on a Monday (day after new years) around 10:30am and the parking lot was getting pretty full but there was still plenty of parking. If the parking lot gets full, there is available street parking. There was a short wait when we entered the restaurant but we were quickly seated. Our server arrived quick with enough time for us to look at the menu and the food arrived probably around 10-12 minutes after placing our order. I always forget that... read more
