Well the waiter and waitress got into a heated argumente. In front of everyone. Cussing each other out, I didn't know where I was for a minute. The fries came out frozen cold. The bacon burnt and the eggs were not done properly. The waiter was so distracted from what his colleagues was saying and doing that he cared more about yelling at her than getting the order right. Not worth the price or the show we gots I am usually a fan of black bear but this one was just bad. Coffee was cold and took for ever to bring.

went in for breakfast around 9:45. waited almost 15 minutes after seating before finally getting waitress attention. after ordering waited almost 30 minutes for food. When food came it was barely warm, and hash browns were cold after a few minutes. Asked waitress for a take out container. She didn't bring one until asked again. Food was just OK, would have been much better hot, but since everyone around us was being served their food, it may have been sitting for awhile. The worst Corned beef St. Patty's dinner we ever had. The meat was grilled. They put it on a grill to reheat it. They were sliced like a half inch steak. They served us a small piece of cabbage. They also ran out baked potatoes. They did not have boiled potatoes. The service was terrible. We definitely will not be back.

The restaurant was clean. Was not busy. Had less than 10 people seated. Our main course was fine. However- once the food arrived. Received very little service from the waitress. The waitress passed by to either inform/ drop off another lemonade. Never stopped long enough to inform her of the burnt toast. Can't believe she even served it like that. As well as- getting the chance to ask for Ranch for fries. Or more water for hot tea. She did slow down to give us our check. She even took plates off the table. Didn't even ... read more

I love Black Bear Diners. This one has great friendly service and the food is the usual. I knocked off one star though. I don't understand how anybody can run a restaurant that consistently stinks like a sewer. This is probably not the Diner's fault, but it's unpleasant eating anything but eggs here with the horrible smell. It's much more noticeable when the restaurant isn't full.

I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast. The menu said it was 3 pieces. When it came out, there was only 2 and they were small, like the size of a am English muffin. When I asked about it, they said it was from another vendor and they were bigger, so you only get 2. They were tiny. I sent it back. Now why these people would not have just put another piece on the plate instead of having me return it, is beyond me. Terrible management of this place. Horrible service. Or I should say NO service. Came in for dinner tonight. Seated and drink order went well. Waited for about 20 minutes for pancakes, when she came out the first time apologizing. Another 15 minutes to tell us they ran out of pancakes and were making more. "They would be fresh for us". Ummm.....so they are normally not fresh????
