My steak was dry and my water had something floating in it! Super disappointed, but my waitress was really nice!
I rarely give one stars to dining experiences unless they were God awful, and that's exactly what this was. Queue the most bland, fatty, old, stale food ever eaten. Genuinely. It was SO bad. Place is old and dusty and the staff was far from helpful, they decided to argue me instead of; you know, at least PARTIALLY refunding me. I won't be back, like, ever.

I can't handle it anymore the food is great the restraunt is clean the waitress was pleasant they have a juke box up front which is fine but then they have some kind of rave going on in the kitchen that is so loud I couldn't even talk to the person I was there with. This is the third time I have dealt with it I have asked them to turn it down. I have heard other people ask them to turn it down and it's a no go. So this will be my last time at Black Bear Cafe.
The food is poor quality and the restaurant has an overall greasy spoon feeling. It feels like an expanded version of Denny's but not as tidy. I had the pot roast with vegetables and mashed potatoes which is actually beef stew in gravy poured over mashed potatoes, very little beef, lots of gravy and over-cooked vegetables..
If I could give this place 0 stars I def would! I make an order online and was told it was ready I get there to pick up only for it not to be, and instead of any assistance he people working there were all just standing there looking at me like I did something wrong! Then to top it off it took them 25 min to bring my food out only for it to be COLD!
I ordered an omelette only to find out that it was made with a liquid egg product and not fresh eggs. GROSS! Additionally, I had to send my English muffin back X2 to get it "toasted", as well as beg for coffee refills. Do not go to this restaurant.
Second time at a Black Bear Diner in about 10 years. They have a large menu. Ordered the Chicken Sausage Scramble. Served with egg whites, fruit, wheat toast and chicken sausage with spinach. Food was warm, service was mediocre. They appear to be short on staff and that impacts the service. Too many other great choices in this locale.
Tried calling to place an order to go for my family 3 times it rings and then it hangs up. Please they need to get people that aren't so freaken lazy dam wish I try to send a video of me calling play video. Lazy asa people. If the owners want to know I called 7:40 on a Tuesday They must not need to go orders. I had a order for 6 people
Staying in hotel 50 feet away from restaurant and took the driver 40 minutes to deliver cold soggy food which would have been as bad hot, management at restaurant was argumentative and unwilling to do anything about it; all around bad experience!!
