Stopped in recently for dinner and now I know why their prime rib sells out so dang fast, it's good and for the price can't be beat anywhere. It was exactly the comforting food I needed. Green beans tasted canned but were cooked with a bit of onion and bacon lardons to give it good flavour, mashed potatoes are always good and came with a nice thick gravy. I love this Diner . You walk into a little gift shop and than your seated . The menu looks like a newspaper . The staff is friendly and the food is delicious . I've eaten the chicken fried steak at the one up north and today I ate a Turkey avocado sandwich with a salad. I ordered my salad with ranch dressing and it comes with bacon bits and onion in it which gives it a little extra flavor . My friend ate the chicken noodle soup and it looked really good . If you want some good down home food this is the place to go !

We love Black Bear Diner! The decor is great takes me back to where I come from. We were impressed with the huge portions and also really good service. The restaurant was clean and neat and the entire staff seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking forward to the prime rib, but unfortunately, it was a very thin slice and surrounded by fat. Otherwise, the food is fantastic.

Always a good meal for adults and kids. Ambiance is great. My grandson,Bair, always requests this place. Today, after summer camp, he wanted to show, Marcus, his favorite server, the shed snakeskin he found. We had a good meal with awesome Marcus, making Bair feel special. Marcus always makes the experience exceptional. He has a warm and super friendly persona that makes dining here, relaxing. How great to have a place feel like home with large portions, good food and smiling servers.
Great decor. Good food. I love the black bear theme! There is a family of bears to greet you when you arrive. The interior is the restaurant has an outdoor theme. Looking forward to going back.
We had breakfast several times during our stay. Great service from all the staff. Menu offered abundance of choice and would highly recommend.
Breakfast was very good and service was fantastic. Mikela our waitress was fun and awesome!! Always checking on us!! Coffee cup or water never was empty!!
