Great food, music, and very clean. Waitress Sharron was fantastic. If you've never been to a Black Bear, I highly recommend it. I've been to about 10 different locations and they all are outstanding.
Breakfast was mediocre. Not awful but I wont be writing any songs about it. Biscuits were dry, grits a little to runny hot link lackluster. I probably wont be back.
Our waitress Angelica made our experience at black bear wonderful, best waitress ever. Her smile just made our day
Good food if you don't mind waiting quite a while for your meal. We've eaten here a couple of times and the food is usually pretty tasty. Don't get the salmon because they have no clue how to cook it and it tastes and smells old. Everyone else in our group has been happy with their food. I usually try to watch my carbs and am allergic to eggs so my choices are really limited. Have to admit, if the service was faster, we would probably try to eat here more often.
Big plates that are served really generously. Everything was just made and hot. Delicious food
Great service I love the place but sometimes the lady at the front (the host) is a bit grouchy. She tends to have a bad attitude towards guests. All the servers and other staff are lovely though!
We enjoyed our breakfast at this location the food tasted great nice hearty and large portions or at least the plates just felt huge! The pork sausages patties u was too fond of but everything else tasted great. Those biscuits are HUGE so be ready for that. They were about the size of my fist maybe bigger and soooo fluffy. Staff was nice our wait was friendly and quick great location off 59 in Sugarland
This place is amazing I ate up here last night with my children we had breakfast for dinner the food was amazing service even better our server quinton took great care of us he guided us through this expansive menu and let us know some great choices all and all a great experience we are definitely coming back.
Like Denny's on steroids. It gets 5 stars for what it IS. Great look when you come in. Great servers. Big menu with lots of good home cooking on it. We love this place when we have no clue what we want but don't want to cook. We always find something that sparks our interest. We have eaten from all over that menu and are pretty pleased with the place. A bit of a drive from our house but that is ok. Don't expect fancy- just good home cooking and great service.
