Went there for Mothers Day, service was not really bad, but order was wrong, took forever, and on top of that, they sat 5 people before us, we ate and paid, and they still didn't have their food. The food was under cooked. The worse Black Bear Diner (Tempe) I have been to.
The food was delicious but the service was awful! It took forever to be seated. I felt like the service was slower than it should of been. There was a hair in my food. Maybe it was just this particular place, hopefully not all of them are like this!

Very disorganized and slow service. Food was lackluster, and the coffee was weak. The manager did nothing to resolve concerns and the hostess was rude and gave incredibly inaccurate wait times. Not returning here ever again, definitely not worth the money. One and done.

We were told that one side of the grill had been closed, not our problem. Then our meals were not served at the same time. Our pancakes were still doughy, the bacon was not crispy as requested. The service yesterday morning for breakfast was good. But every time I go in there for lunch it is seriously a cluster f of events. The service is always 100% horrible! I think They need to get a new lunchtime staff. People who actually do their job and take care of their customers. I would never recommend anybody ever go in there for lunch if they have to get back to work on time or have an appointment they need to get to. And the other day, one of my coworkers ordered lunch for pick up. And I heard him over and over and o... read more

it was the most horrible meal I have ever had, We ordered the Corn beef and cabbage special for St Pats day.. They heated the corn beef on the grill! it was dry and tasteless. Plus it came with a gravy!! The waitress was very gracious and apologetic. She brought out another serving of the meet and it was better but still tasteless. So we didnt eat it..
