Went for breakfast today and potatoes looked like they were 5 days old soggy and bland won't be going there again
It was a horrible wait time, then once we got in and we’re seated it took 13 minutes for a server to take our drink order. The drink order came another 8 minutes later and he forgot 3 of the drinks. We were only a part of 5. We ordered and it took 45 more minutes to get food. It was dirty and not organized at all. We were ready to get up and leave but it was my dads 80th birthday and we had already waited. We waited for what seemed an eternity to be helped and when we got our food we had to stare at it for even longer before the server gave us silverware and the food was very bland

Don't get me wrong I like Black Bear Diner but this time was the worst. Took forever to get our food, food was cold and not cooked like I ordered it and they were not practicing social distancing, they were setting everyone in every booth and table next to each other.
Should have taken photos but we literally waiting for 15 minutes to get acknowledged and when we did, she just walked off. Finally got to order our food. My fiancé asked for Chicken Fried Steak and when our food arrived, my fiancé got the wrong plate and our food was cold. So we had to wait another few minutes. Undercooked potatoes on one plate over cooked one the other ... forgot one order was almost half way done with her before i got mine ... ignored by staff for a good 15 mins before I was even acknowledged for my drinks

They're getting worse and worse. This used to be my favorite location, now the service is extremely slow and keeps getting slower, food is made incorrectly and put together very poorly, and the staff never seems to really know what they're doing anymore. And the bathrooms are hardly clean also and if they "are" it's a half done job and smells awful.

I find it extremely rude that you allow people to just jump in front of people already in line waiting to pay. Then you try to say that this person was part of a group who already paid. It was a totally separate transaction, I don’t care what group they were part of. I waited in line and was next, and this lady just whisks right in and both the guy at the desk and this lady just look at me and ignore the fact that I was in line and was next. We have eaten at Black Bear Diner multiple times. We arrived at the restaurant at 10:54 a.m. with a party of 8 (me, my wife, 3 kids, a 7 month old baby, and my parents). We were told it would be a 45 minute wait and that they may have to put us at different tables, but we were assured the tables would be close together.
