If any of you are ever planning on going to black bear diner in Jordan Landing don't ever do it to yourself. I ate there tonight around 8 to 8:30, worst service of my life worst food I've ever attempted to digest and now a little over an hour to two hours after I waa able to hack down part of my rubber chicken I have literally thrown up now 5 times and am having horrible stomach cramps. Never in my life have I ever been treated as poorly as I was at Black Bear in Jordan Landing today. I went for breakfast with my daughter. First, they were seating the people who got there last before those who had been waiting. We finally got a seat, and sat there for 40 minutes without anybody serving us. Finally, I was able to get the server’s attention. When he realized we hadn’t been helped, he was quick to say “I’m so sorry, but it’s not my fault”. Okay. Went here last night ordered New York steak it was rotten so they got me a rib eye asked for it med it come to me almost purple . The next one was good but don't think we will go back.
This used to be an awesome place. Until about 2 months ago. Now can not get service to save my life. Second time in the last month we have had horrible service. Me and my wife there this afternoon while it was slow. Both of our orders were messed up and did not get what we ordered. Our server did not come once after we ordered our food to check up or get us refills on our drinks. This has been our favorite place in the past. We will now be driving to Draper to go to Black Bear instead of going up the road to Jordan Landing.

We decided to eat here for our last meal in Utah with my family. It was supposed to be a memorable since it was our last meal together. Instead, we sat for 30 minutes without being checked on. I finally asked where the meal was at and the waitress told us our ticket was dropped and forgotten about. There was no compensation for the time lost or real apology. Food was good! But it was so dirty we could not get comfortable at all. My seat had food all over it, the table was still sticky and dirty. It looked like the floors were not cleaned in a good while.
