Heard how good Black Bear Diner was and decided to try it. Big mistake. This is the one in West Valley. Hostess was rude and so was the server. 1st server asked to take our order as soon as we sat down. We told her we needed a minute to look at menu. She never came back. Finally another server showed up. We wanted the soup snd sandwich. When we asked whst the soup was he didn't know and had to ask. The food was great, but our service was terrible. Our server was scatter brained and at one point even left a hot coffee pot sitting at our table. (We don't drink coffee.) My husband had to get up and ask a manager for syrup. It would be great if Chalula hot sauce was available. The greeters station set up is in a poor place and creates a disfunctional lobby. I witnessed many forgotten guests who were seated, but didn't seem to have a server. Please make sure your servers are trained properly and know what tables belong to... read more

The WORST food ever!!!! My boys got hamburgers and they were raw in the middle, my husband got served moldy toast. The waiter was shitty we kept having to repeat ourselves when the waiter would ask of if we need drink refills he would forget and we would ask again!! We won't EVER be going back to this location again. Very displeased. I did tell the manager and all he said was "oh well I guess I will talk to my kitchen staff" he didn't care. I hope something can be done to make it right
Why does your server take so long to help us. Sat here for a long time forever before anyone even said anything. Instead of apologizing that she took forever she was rude when she asked us "what do you want". A better waitress. We loved the one at Jordan landing but so far this sucks!

They skipped over us when we were waiting. So we ended up waiting an extra 20+ minutes to be seated. Once we got in they were out of crayons, kids cups, and chocolate milk. We will not be coming back.

They gave me more raw French toast. I couldn't eat it at all. The manager was rude and I still ended up paying for the French toast. He would only take $2 off. Not sure if I will go back.
