I must say it was one of my worst experience at black bear dinner. I hate to say the one in Jordan Landing is much better with better service and food. I had to send my food back because it was cold and my ribs were a complete disaster. Our service just sucked we waited half hour for a salad and a yet another 45 minutes for our food. I don't think I will be returning to this location.
FOOD IS GREAT, HOWEVER, THE WAITERS AND WAITRESSES NEED TO STEP IT UP. SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF THEM WALK AROUND WITHOUT EVER CHECKING ON THEIR CUSTOMERS OR ASK IF NEW CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN HELPED OR NOT. LAST VISIT WAITED FOR A WHILE TO BE SEATED, NOT ONE EMPLOYEE ASKED IF WE HAD BEEN HELPED OR SAID SOMEONE WOULD HELP US SHORTLY.
If I could I would rate this 0! Sat for almost 45 mins. Waiting for a table, and to make it worse, I saw empty tables that just weren't cleaned yet, and we were still waiting. I'll stick to West Jordan location!

THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! waited 15 minutes and no one took our order for drinks. we finally waved someone down for drinks. waited another 15 mins and no one came to take our order. people were seated across from us and got their drinks right away and food before we even ordered. finally waved down a waiter to take our order. no one ever refilled our drinks or took our previous plates before the main course, so we had a full table our whole time there. we told a waiter that it was my daughters bday, (we saw ... read more
Horrible experience I was just there with my kids I waited about 45 minutes sitting there no one came to our table to take our order it was horrible to see people come in and get their orders taken and yet no one aproached our table... this was my first and last time at this diner I was so very disapointed with their service... Heard how good Black Bear Diner was and decided to try it. Big mistake. This is the one in West Valley. Hostess was rude and so was the server. 1st server asked to take our order as soon as we sat down. We told her we needed a minute to look at menu. She never came back. Finally another server showed up. We wanted the soup snd sandwich. When we asked whst the soup was he didn't know and had to ask.
