No surprises here, just a good family restaurant with very friendly and efficient service. Just a couple of issues with breakfast: skip the hash browns which arrive crunchy, dried out and overdone. I would opt for the country potatoes instead. Also, the pancakes are dense and chewy, not light and fluffy. Opt for french toast instead. Recommended with the above caveats.

Our rule when traveling is to find places to eat that we cannot find at home. My husband loves a great cheeseburger and the one we enjoyed today at Black Bear Diner was by far the best we've ever had. The service and food is excellent. Lindsay is the best at making your visit to Black Bear perfect.

I know they are a chain restaurant however I have only actually had 1 bad meal there and they promptly took care of it. It doesn't matter what I have it's always been good!

Great family restaurant with a large, diverse menu! I love to come here when I am craving good hearty diner food. The staff are pleasant and attentive, and I have never had a bad experience at any of their locations.

Average food, average service. Home style dishes on par with diner food, but at a higher price. Be cautious of the drink prices my child and I both had SMALL orange juices for breakfast and they were $3.50 EACH for concentrate! I can get a gallon of Simply Orange juice for less than that...
