Visited the Woods Cross restaurant when it first opened in summer of 2018. Enjoyed it! Went back early afternoon on Christmas Eve '18 and was very disappointed. Both my wife and I were served cold breakfast - except for the Chicken Fried Steak, everything in both plates was room temperature. And the Hashbrowns were burned and cold. The service was also slow and inattentive - waited 15 minutes to be able to tell our server the food wasn't acceptable. It was a Saturday late afternoon that we went here. They were out of the first three things we asked for. We have little kids, and they were out of kids cups. I got the chicken fried steak. It was chewy, but the mashed potatoes were good. So was the corn bread. My wife got the eggs Benedict. She didn't have any complaints until the next morning when she was pretty sick vomiting that lasted the entire day. I've been to several black bear diners, and this was by far our worst experience.
