In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Hats off to Beth at the Diner. She was congenial and made the lunch experience fun. She more importantly got our food to us hot and fresh. She kept the waters filled and the coffee got. This was first time to a Black Bear Diner but won't be our last. Good value for money. Pleasant bear oriented decorations and merchandise. Next time we will leave room for dessert.
Egg benadick, chili & French toast/ hash browns were what we had & everything was delicious & very reasonable. I would highly recommend eating here
Service, food, and Ambiance was amazing. We came in unexpectedly with a huge group and Beth took care of us and we were surprisingly sat immediately which doesn't happen often with such a big group. Have visited other locations and will be back to this one again!
I came by with my friends after KOH and wanted to eat some good breakfast, I've always loved black bear dinner but Beth's customer service was above and beyond, we never had to ask for refills she would come by and refill as soon as we were finished up, she was a great host and will definitely come back just for her, also the fishing rods as decoration was an amazing touch. I love this place
We had a big crowd and Beth did amazing and we appreciate her service! She is very attentive and sweet, also very welcoming. Not my first time but she definitely placed a special place in my heart and made my day. Thank you Beth!!
What a great place. I come in for breakfast often and the service is pleasant but this time I went in and Sherrie was my server and it bumped this visit up by 100. She's the best here
Wanted to give 5 stars to our server Shawna at Yucca Valley Big Bear diner. She was warm and friendly in addition to knowing the menu and making thoughtful recommendations for our meal. You're in good hands if you're at her table.
we had 7 people and the waitress was yessi, she was wonderful and met all the needs of the table in a timely manner. black bear is a wonderful place to eat with a great selection of food.
Liz was lowk so cool. She served us so quick and she was so so nice. Our food was super good!
