First time trying black bear diner. The interior was so cute, made it feel like I was in a cabin in the woods. I ordered Bears choice which came with 2 eggs and 2 sides of your choice, I chose sausage and waffles. I wish the waffles were crispier, but overall it wasn't bad. I also ordered a vanilla cold brew, which was surprisingly very good! Service was a bit slow, took a while for our food to come out but our waitress was nice.
Portion size at Black Bear Diner is always impressive! Got The Grizz which came with 2 bacon, 2 sausages, ham steak, 3 eggs, hashbrowns, and subbed the pancakes for waffles. If you're hungry this will for sure satisfy you for the rest of the day! Waffles were dry so I say stick with the pancakes. Service was a bit slow but it seems like there was only one lady taking care if the entire section.

(3.0) To start things off the atmosphere was top notch for a diner. Soft rock played at a good volume in the dining room and in the bathrooms. The service wasn't up to par in my opinion. My wife needed her drink refilled for over 15 minutes. I ordered the reuben and a house salad. The reuben was flavorless and the house salad wasn't fresh (looked like a great value bag of chopped lettuce) but on the bright side the blue cheese i ordered to go with it was homemade and very good. I came here 3 times and each experience we had was different. First time we went here we were seated and waiting for 45 minutes before a waiter showed up to offer us our drinks. Second time still waited awhile before a waiter came to serve us but the food made it up for waiting long. Third time everything went perfect so glad they were improving each time.

This place was so cute! Bf and I stopped for lunch on the way to our rental, service was great and the overall atmosphere was very enjoyable. We were a little worried because the menu was so big, but both of our sandwiches turned out great! I got the chicken avocado club and he got the turkey club. Definitely recommend.
BETH WAS SO SWEET!!! Loved having her as our server :) she was very attentive to our needs and made us feel like we were at home, even if we were only in town visiting.
Loved it and the service was amazing , clean & fast. The food was great as well everything was in big portions.
