After purchasing the cupon, I called Black Lion, it was in the afternoon when I called, they returned my call the next day, and an appointment was set up for the next week. Their employee was prompt and friendly. During the inspection he found there was a water leak, which had not been noticed or interferred with operation of the furnace. He advised I needed to contact the company that I purchased the furnace from, since our furnace is only 4 years old, he did not want to invalidate the warranty. We found Black Lion Heating and Air Conditioning thru an Angie's List "Big Deal". The price was better than any of the quotes we had previously received. Our first contact was thru e-mail. We had questions about what the special included. Ben responded very quickly and thru e-mail and phone conversation he answered all our questions and we purchased the Angie's ListDeal. Black Lion did a great job of servicing our heating system, which hadn't been serviced in 5 years. They arrived right on time, and went straight to work. Our system needed a small part that was ordered and installed within a few days. I also wanted a high grade filter, which they brought back on the second visit. The serviceman was experienced and professional. The price was very competitive, especially since they made two visits to complete the work.

Ben called to make my appointment, arrived on time (early after calling to make sure I was home) and was friendly and informative on how my gas furnace was working. He willing crawled under the house to perform the furnace tune-up. Glad to have a good furnace person now to help me take care of my house. I will certainly be calling Black Lion Heating again!

The individual from Black Lion performed annual maintenance on my furnace - he was very helpful in answering my questions - let me know our filter did not need to be replaced yet (rather than automatically replacing and charging me for a new one). I mentioned that we were having our hard wood floors refinished and provided me information to keep my furnace in good shape during this process. I was very impressed with Black Lion and will use them again.
